KB Home has made top-level appointments in Colorado and Arizona as it names Randy Carpenter president of its Colorado division and Rob McGibney as general manager of Arizona operations. Carpenter will be responsible for implementing the Colorado division’s growth strategies and overseeing its operations, including land acquisitions, construction, customer service, purchasing, studio, sales, marketing, and development.
McGibney, who served as KB’s Las Vegas division president since 2010, will oversee KB’s Phoenix and Tucson sales, land purchases and development. Amy McReynolds will continue to oversee KBI’s Tucson business unit as its division president. She will report to McGibney. KB has also appointed Brian Kunec to head its Las Vegas operations. Rob McGibney is a capable and effective leader, who has done a tremendous job as president of KB Home’s Las Vegas division for more than five years. I am proud to announce that Rob will be taking on a new and larger role as regional general manager for Arizona, and am confident that Rob and his team will help advance the continued success of our Phoenix and Tucson businesses,” sai Matt Mandino, regional president of KB Home.

Carpenter has 23 years of real estate and homebuilding experience at public and private homebuilders. His background includes general real estate practice, construction, consulting, and serving for more than 13 years as a sales and marketing executive with local, regional and national firms. He was recently promoted to senior vice president of KB Home’s Colorado division, in charge of all operational functions, before being named president. McGibney has been with the Los Angeles-based home builder for 16 years starting as a financial analyst.
